A canelé is a classic French pastry from the Bordeaux region, known for its irresistibly soft, custardy interior and deeply caramelized, crunchy shell. Traditionally infused with vanilla and fruit-based liqueurs, it’s a small treat with big character.

Our Gluten-Free Canelés are handcrafted in small batches using simple, real ingredients—fresh eggs, whole milk, real vanilla beans, a splash of dark rum, and a touch of orange liqueur. The only difference? We’ve swapped out the wheat flour for a carefully selected gluten-free blend that keeps the iconic texture and flavor beautifully intact.

To achieve that signature contrast between the crisp exterior and custardy center, the batter is rested for up to 48 hours. This slow maturation deepens the vanilla-rum flavor and helps create the traditional canelé texture—worth every minute of waiting.

Each canelé is then baked low and slow in authentic copper molds from France and Japan, producing its golden, caramelized crust and familiar bite.

We ship our pastries in vacuum-sealed packs to preserve freshness and protect their delicate texture.

Re-Crisping Instructions:
Gluten-free canelés will stay fresh for several days, and you can easily revive their signature crunch:

Air Fryer:
Preheat to 375°F (190°C). Heat canelés for 3–5 minutes, then let them cool for a minute before enjoying.

Conventional Oven:
Preheat to 400°F (200°C). Warm on a baking sheet for 5–8 minutes, then allow a couple of minutes for the crust to firm up.
